What We Provide

Ultrasound Service Areas

Support is shaped around the requirements of each service, from individual sonographer placements to coordinated workforce provision.

  • Non-Obstetric Ultrasound

We provide experienced sonographers to support non-obstetric ultrasound services across NHS Trusts, community settings and diagnostic centres.

Our sonographers provide a comprehensive range of non-obstetric ultrasound, including abdominal and gynaecological examinations, with specialist areas in musculoskeletal (MSK), head and neck, vascular, paediatric and breast ultrasound.

This breadth of clinical expertise enables us to support diverse diagnostic pathways across hospital and community settings.

  • Obstetric Ultrasound

Integrated Diagnostic Partners can provide experienced obstetric sonographers to complement established maternity ultrasound teams and support antenatal scanning services.

Our experienced obstetric sonographers provide comprehensive ultrasound expertise across all stages of pregnancy, supporting first, second and third trimester scanning pathways.

We work around the requirements of individual maternity services, enabling our sonographers to integrate with established clinical pathways, departmental protocols and local governance arrangements while providing the additional capacity required to maintain a resilient service.

  • Community Diagnostic Centres

Community Diagnostic Centres are changing where and how diagnostic services are delivered, bringing investigations closer to patients while creating additional diagnostic capacity outside traditional acute hospital settings.

Integrated Diagnostic Partners can provide dedicated ultrasound workforce solutions for established CDCs, expanding services and new community diagnostic programmes. Our workforce can support daytime, evening and weekend activity, helping providers build sustainable sonography capacity around local demand and operating requirements.

We can work alongside existing teams or provide dedicated ultrasound workforce capacity across individual sites, hub-and-spoke models and wider community diagnostic networks.

  • Extended-Hours & Additional Capacity

Increasing diagnostic capacity does not always require establishing an entirely new service. Integrated Diagnostic Partners can help organisations maximise existing facilities by providing additional ultrasound workforce for evenings, weekends and extended operating hours.

This flexible approach enables providers to increase utilisation of available scanning capacity, respond to peaks in demand and create additional appointment capacity without placing further pressure on existing teams.

Support can be scaled up or down as service requirements change, providing organisations with greater flexibility in how their ultrasound capacity is delivered.

  • Workforce Management

Our support can extend beyond individual sonographer placements. Integrated Diagnostic Partners can provide coordinated ultrasound workforce solutions designed around the operational requirements of the service.

This may include workforce planning, rota coordination, availability management, compliance and onboarding oversight, and maintaining a dependable pool of appropriately experienced ultrasound professionals.

By taking a structured approach to workforce provision, we help organisations create greater continuity and resilience while reducing the operational burden associated with managing additional temporary capacity.

  • Community & Primary Care Services

Our sonographers have experience of working closely within community and primary care services, providing care closer to the patient's home. We understand the challenges the wider health services face in accessing ultrasound diagnostics and can provide a workforce capable of delivering the same high-quality services in different settings.

Our model utilises decades of experience working in primary and community settings, allowing us to work within an MDT including nurses, GPs and physiotherapists. Talk to us to understand how we can partner with you to give a truly holistic and timely approach for your patients.

A Flexible Partnership Model

Additional capacity. Dependable workforce. Integrated delivery.

Every diagnostic service has different pressures, pathways and workforce requirements. Our approach is therefore built around flexibility rather than a fixed delivery model.

Support can range from targeted additional workforce to longer-term managed capacity, allowing organisations to select a solution that reflects their operational requirements.

Integrated Diagnostic Partners works alongside NHS organisations to help build ultrasound services that are responsive, resilient and ready to meet changing diagnostic demand.
