About Integrated Diagnostic Partners
Clinically Led. Governance Driven. Patient Centred.
Integrated Diagnostic Partners is founded and led by clinicians with extensive NHS experience clinically and operationally. That experience shapes how our ultrasound insourcing services are designed, governed and delivered alongside Trust teams.

Who We Are
An organisation built for NHS diagnostics
IDP has been established by a UK-trained Sonographer and an Operational Lead, both with decades of NHS experience. Together, we bring a uniquely rounded perspective to the delivery of high-quality sonography services, grounded in clinical practice, operational leadership, programme management and consultancy. Having spent our careers working within NHS Trusts, we have a deep understanding of patient experience, clinical safety, and the realities of frontline care. This clinical foundation shapes every aspect of our approach: services are designed around evidence-based practice, consistent quality, and the needs of both patients and clinicians.
Our operational backgrounds mean we understand the pressures NHS managers face — workforce constraints, rising demand, pathway variation, and the challenge of delivering improvement within limited resources. We have led operational teams, mobilised new services, and redesigned functions using improvement methodologies, giving us a practical understanding of what works in real-world NHS environments. This blend of operational realism and strategic leadership ensures that our insourced sonography solutions integrate seamlessly with existing pathways, support local teams, and deliver measurable impact. We also provide strategic support, including business case development and documentation to strengthen local decision-making.
Alongside this, our consultancy experience across providers, commissioners, local authorities and national bodies has strengthened our ability to work across organisational boundaries and build trusted partnerships. We have supported organisations to turn operational challenges into strategic opportunities, including procurement support and service redesign. Whether working with clinicians, executives, operational leads or digital teams, we bring a collaborative, outcomes-focused approach that keeps patient safety, quality and experience at the centre.
This combination of clinical insight, NHS system knowledge and transformation expertise is what underpins IDP's sonography-insourcing offer. Our aim is simple: to provide safe, high-quality capacity that supports NHS teams, improves patient flow, and delivers meaningful, sustainable impact.
Our Approach
Four principles that guide our work
Clinical Excellence
Examinations delivered by accredited, NHS-experienced sonographers working to standardised protocols and continuous audit.
Patient Safety
Identification and safeguarding checks, IR(ME)R compliance and immediate escalation pathways embedded in day-to-day practice.
Professional Integrity
Transparent reporting, open incident learning and a culture of openness and respect across our teams.
Collaborative Partnership
Services designed with Trust teams, integrating with existing pathways, systems and governance frameworks.
Clinically Led
Founded and led by clinicians
Our leadership has worked within NHS diagnostic services, both clinically and operationally. That perspective informs every part of our service model.
- Understanding of how NHS diagnostic environments operate day to day.
- Governance structures aligned with national guidance and local Trust frameworks.
- Quality maintained through peer review, audit cycles and performance reporting.
- Practical service delivery designed around clinical pathways, not around administration.
- Integration with Trust teams, RIS/PACS and existing reporting arrangements.
